In spite of very short preparation period, Euroby2008 championship was quite sucessful for our team. We won the 5th place in category MiroSot Middle, with two wins and one draw. You can see all the results here.
In an incredible match for the 5th place against the Czech Republic, in our most remarkable recovery we overturned result of 1:4 on halftime to 4:4 at the end of regular time. Then in one of the most dramatic game endings ever, we scored a golden goal in extra time period, which brought us 5:4 victory and the 5th place.
Team members that took part in this championship were team manager prof. Ivan Petrovic, coach Misel Brezak, new members Srecko Juric-Kavelj and Ivan Markovic, and Marija Seder as the team cheerleader.
